Szkola Podstawowa nr 3 z Oddzialami Integracyjnymi im. Adama Mickiewicza, Lubsko

We are a primary school, from the 1st to the 8th grade located in a town with 14 000 inhabitants. There are 222 students aged 7-15 and 37 teachers. The students are from Lubsko, sourounding villages and 12 from the Children's Home. It is a school with integrated classes where disadvantaged students are taught with the rest of pupils. Specially trained teachers help the students with disabilities to overcome their learning problems. We want to show our students practical use of knowledge learnt at school, encourage them to learn STEAM subject through attractive activities and workshops, teach students in interdisciplinary way, find new methods to overcome their difficulties and increase their learning results. We are the school open to disadvantaged students from the whole town and we need to learn how schools in other countries support and include the students into school life. We would like to include all of our students, including those disadvantaged into the school life to encourage them to get involved even more into learning and make them think about their future jobs, also connected with STEAM. Participating in the project will create opportunity for the whole school community. Teachers will have opportunity to adopt innovative methods from partner teachers and continue their professional development. We took part in one Erasmus+ project (2015-2017) as a partner and another one as a coordinating school (2017-2019). The projects involved exchanging good practices on other topics and creating a kind of toolboxes. We will offer our experience regarding the organization of work. We are experience in eTwinning. We were awarded the European quality labels in 2014 and 2019 (for the K2 Erasmus+ project). The project group consists of the coordinator (English teacher), the science and biology teacher, the chemistry and maths teacher. They will be experts on STEM topics. We are supported by the principle and other subject teachers. The project coordinator is an English teacher who is experienced thanks to the previous projects (e-Twinning and Erasmus+). She has good ICT skills and she will be a language expert. We believe that in case anybody leaves the post the others will take over the work. The principle will delegate a new employee to ensure the proper implementation of the project's activities.
